Our goal is to promote and enhance the continued development of the historic downtown as a hub of economic, social and cultural activity. All year, RDA hosts a series of Friday evening (and annual) events that have become the most popular block party style gatherings in Lee County. Utilizing the unique music, art, food and culture of The River District to draw visitors of all ages, thousands flood the streets of downtown each week to soak up the eclectic atmosphere and explore Fort Myers’ most fascinating location.
